I’ve been a resident of LA for about seven years now, and I’m continually captivated by the light in this city. Having spent over a decade in NYC, the shift to a place where mountains, diverse vegetation, and easy access to beaches coexist has been endlessly inspiring. While the culture here is undeniably vibrant and captivating in its own right, it’s the landscape, the sunsets, and those fleeting moments of presence—things I don’t experience anywhere else—that fuel my creativity.

As an outsider, I feel like I see Los Angeles through a different lens than most locals. I aim to capture not just the iconic elements of the city but also the everyday nuances—those overlooked details that make up the rhythm of life here. Many people I know tend to stay rooted in their neighborhoods, but I find the vastness of LA County reveals countless worlds that outsiders might never imagine.

Living in LA has reshaped how I view both natural and urban environments. It’s given me a heightened appreciation for the beauty around me, and without that perspective, the world would feel far less visually rich.
